Original Rialto trade token from Tillamook, Oregon, measuring 7/8 inch and struck in brass. This uniface merchant check features a bold "R" monogram within a dotted border. The reverse is blank, as issued.
These small brass tokens were used by local businesses in Oregon in the early-to-mid 20th century as store credit or drink checks, and tokens from Tillamook are less commonly found than those from the bigger coastal towns.
